About
K.R Prince fell in love with stories at the tender age of five and hasn't been able to put down her ink and quill ever since. Remembering her childhood as one full of contemplation and introverted musings, she found refuge and invaluable friendships on the other side of glossy pages. Her very first experience with a paper, pen and the movie in her head was sealed with a heart and a kiss. She was eight, and that was her first taste of this thing she now adores.
She currently resides in the Pacific Northwest where she finds gray, rainy days and inspiring sights to be fantastic ink for her pen, aside from conveniently satisfying her coffee addiction!
“I want to tell stories, but mostly, I want to write stories for the underdog, like me. I was an outcast while growing up, and on top of that, I felt different from all the other girls around me… At sixteen I realized I liked them, I saw them differently and that changed it all. I was quiet, full of inspiration, and I had so many questions! I remember wanting to have a story in front of my eyes, which reflected me… Something that made me feel normal, not malformed, and sadly, I only found access to fleeting hand-holding and either a dead or a lonely lesbian at the end of most tales. It was frustrating and so very discouraging. However, it fueled me.
I want every person out there who feels this same need, to have access to something of value… something real, something that doesn’t just fade to black. We all deserve to be seen, and for our hearts to reach the stunning heights of satisfaction... We all deserve to have a safe place in this world. I want to give what I craved and was only able to find in the world of fanfiction. I just want to tell stories.”
